Do I need a referral?2023-01-18T14:03:11+10:00

Anyone can refer themselves to a counsellor for mental health challenges, personal concerns and life guidance. As counselling sessions are not funded by the government (Medicare), you do NOT need a GP referral or MHCP in order to access therapy sessions with a counsellor.

How many sessions can I access?2023-01-11T19:04:16+10:00

The number of sessions you can access with a counsellor is unlimited and is often considered a long-term personal journey. Counselling can be a few sessions, short-term or long-term depending on the client’s individual needs and the presenting issues.

As you fund the cost of the sessions yourself, it is up to you to choose how many sessions you wish to attend with your counsellor, and how often you access these therapeutical services.
