About Charlotte
Charlotte is an accomplished counsellor with many years of experience and an educational background. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Charlotte has worked with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Charlotte is dedicated to helping her clients develop effective strategies and tools to address their concerns. She is outcome focused to help create lasting changes for her clients. Charlotte is professionally grounded and supportively guides her clients through the navigation of their issues, whilst seeking insights to identify new perspectives. She creates a safe and supportive environment to help make positive changes possible. Charlotte seeks to make each counselling experience constructive, whilst exploring potentially tough issues.
With a focus on health and wellbeing, Charlotte is committed to helping her clients find new ways to manage life’s challenges.
Charlotte understands that each client is unique. Every session with her is client-centred and tailored to meet the individual’s goals and personal therapeutic needs. She integrates contemporary models of counselling into her practice such as: Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Narrative Therapies, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Anger Management Therapy, Polyvagal theory, and the Gottman Method.
Charlotte believes that counselling can be a rewarding experience, and she looks forward to helping her clients achieve greater understanding, inner peace, health, and happiness.
